about us
Situated at the heart of Irinjalakuda, the cultural capital of Thrissur, Don Bosco School is at the peak of its success, celebrating the diamond jubilee and marching steadily with the motto “To provide quality and relevant education to all.”
The tiny seed that blossomed into the present magnificent institution known as Don Bosco, Irinjalakuda was planted in March 1962 when Fr. John Med, the Provincial of the Salesians of Don Bosco in South India came from Madras at the invitation of the Bishop of Thrissur, Rt. Rev. Dr. George Alapatt to take the preliminary steps for the establishment of a Don Bosco institution. On 6th May 1962 the Government of Kerala sanctioned Don Bosco High School, as an unaided but recognized School.

Principal's Message
Dear Parents, Students, and Members of the Don Bosco Family,
It is both an honour and a privilege to welcome you to Don Bosco Central School
Irinjalakuda, a place where Don Bosco’s principles are not just words but a way of life.
At the heart of our educational philosophy lies the timeless wisdom of Don Bosco, whose
vision of education as a means of empowering young people to reach their full potential
continues to inspire us today. Guided by his principles of Reason, Religion, and Loving
Kindness, we are committed to providing a holistic education that nurtures the mind, body,
and spirit of each and every student.
In the spirit of Don Bosco, we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where
every student feels valued, supported, and respected. Our dedicated faculty and staff are not just educators but mentors, guides, and role models who are deeply invested in the well-being and success of every student.
As we embark on another academic year, I encourage each of you to embrace the spirit of Don Bosco in all that you do – in your studies, your relationships, and your service to others. Let us strive to be beacons of light and hope in our communities, embodying the values of compassion, integrity, and solidarity that Don Bosco held dear. Together, let us continue to build upon the rich legacy of Don Bosco, inspiring future generations to become leaders of character, faith, and service. Thank you for entrusting us with the education and formation of your children. With your support and collaboration, I am confident that we can continue to uphold the ideals of Don Bosco and empower our students to become the best version of themselves.
