Don Bosco Central School marked the inauguration of the new academic year with a meaningful ceremony. The programme began with a prayer song by the school choir, followed by the Teacher’s Prayer by Mrs. Preetha Alex and the Student’s Prayer by Master Devadath C. Menon.
Fr. Jithin Michael SDB, Principal, delivered the Welcome Address, and Fr. Emmanuel Vattakunnel SDB gave the Presidential Address. Mrs. Liji Anand introduced the Chief Guest, Mr. Thomas Joseph, who delivered the Inaugural Address. The traditional lighting of the lamp and Vidyarambham ceremony added solemnity to the occasion.
The Chief Guest was honoured, and felicitations were offered by Adv. Hobby Jolly, PTA President. New staff members were introduced, and student achievers were recognized. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Jissa Jackson, followed by the National Anthem by the choir.
